The 5 Moves That Matter
- Paint the ceiling white, walls warm white. Use 50% sheen on ceiling to bounce light.
- Rug rule: Front legs of all seating on the rug. Minimum 200x300cm for 3-seater.
- Lighting layers: Replace single downlight with floor lamp + table lamp + LED strip.
- Curtains high & wide: Hang 15cm above frame, 30cm wider — windows look doubled.
- One vintage piece: Teak credenza or rattan chair — adds soul instantly.
